A method for producing an aqueous industrial sodium chloride solution, wherein an aqueous medium (12) containing an aqueous sodium chloride solution and polyvalent metals is prepared by adding to water (10) a solid product (8) recovered after the dry treatment with sodium bicarbonate (4) of hydrogen chloride-containing fumes (2), whereafter said aqueous medium (12) is treated to remove the polyvalent metals.

Procédé de fabrication d'une solution aqueuse industrielle de chlorure de sodium, selon lequel on prépare un milieu aqueux (12) comprenant une solution aqueuse de chlorure de sodium et des métaux polyvalents, en introduisant dans de l'eau (10) un produit solide (8) recueilli du traitement par voie sèche, avec du bicarbonate de sodium (4), de fumées (2) contenant du chlorure d'hydrogène, et on traite ledit milieu aqueux (12) pour en éliminer les métaux polyvalents.
