RD-21,163 An Improved Method for Producing Articles by Chemical Vapor Deposition and The Articles Produced Therefrom An improved method of producing diamond articles by chemical vapor deposition and a funnel shaped diamond water-jet mixing tube made therefrom. The method comprises machining an appropriate funnel shape on a graphite substrate, chemical vapor depositing tungsten on the shape to produce a hollow mandrel, separating the mandrel from the substrate, chemical vapor depositing diamond on the mandrel and etching out the mandrel to produce the free standing funnel shaped diamond mixing tube.
