ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A method for producing a catalyst base on cation- exchange resins which comprises mixing a cation-exchange resin with a thermoplastic material and at least one additive selected from organic additives and water and extrusion-moulding of the resulting catalyst mixture at the melding point of the thermoplastic material. The presence of the additives is to simplify the process technology and improve the catalyst quality. The catalysts produces possess high activity, heat resistance, and mechanical strength.
