METHOD FOR PRODUCING COLOURED ANODIC FILM ON ALUMINUM-BASED MATERIAL ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE There is disclosed an electrolytic process for producing an anodized film on aluminum or aluminum alloy material by using an electrolyte comprising a sulphuric acid solution. The material is subjected to voltage pulses having a peak voltage of 25 to 45 volts and a pulse duration of 5 to 70 m.sec. The process can produce a coloured film through a less expensive electrolytic method using sulphuric acid bath.
