The present invention pertains to the field of power generation and electrical transmission lines and may be used for determining the electricity produced, transmitted and used. This invention provides a more reliable definition of the electricity source, of the electricity user and of the section in the electric circuit or electrical transmission line through which electricity is supplied from the source to the user. To this end, upon the generation of a non-sinusoidal voltage, a portion at least of a segment of the voltage curve has the shape of a segment of a line formed by the surface of a right circular cone and the secant plane that does not intersect the summit thereof. The shape of the curve may be represented by different fragments of the segment and may be modified periodically or non-periodically.

Cette invention permet de déterminer avec plus de fiabilité la source d'électricité, le consommateur d'électricité, ainsi que la section du circuit électrique ou de la ligne électrique par lesquels l'électricité est transmise de la source au consommateur. A cette fin, lors de la création d'une tension non sinusoïdale, une partie au moins d'un segment de la courbe de tension a la forme d'un segment d'une ligne que forment la surface d'un cône circulaire droit et le plan sécant ne passant pas par son sommet. La forme de la courbe peut être représentée par différents fragments de ce segment, et peut être modifiée périodiquement ou non.
