The invention relates to a method for producing ethylene glycol dimethacrylate, comprising the transesterification of ethylene glycol with an ester of the methacrylic acid in the presence of catalysts. The catalyst used is a combination that comprises lithium amide (LiNH2) and lithium chloride (LiCl). The method according to the invention allows an especially cost-effective production of high-purity ethylene glycol dimethacrylate.
La présente invention concerne un procédé de production de diméthacrylate d'éthylèneglycol, consistant en la transestérification d'éthylèneglycol avec un ester de l'acide méthacrylique en présence de catalyseurs, une association composée d'amide de lithium (LiNH2) et de chlorure de lithium (LiCI) étant utilisée comme catalyseur. Le procédé selon l'invention permet de produire du diméthacrylate d'éthylèneglycol de très haute pureté d'une façon particulièrement économique.
