Provided are a method for manufacturing fermented milk that uses lactic acid bacteria that can improve the proliferation of bifidobacteria, and fermented milk manufactured by the above manufacturing method. Disclosed are a method for manufacturing fermented milk wherein a fermentation base is fermented using Lactococcus lactis that comprises a cell wall-localized protease (cell wall-enveloped proteinase, PrtP) and Bifidobacterium sp. bacteria, and fermented milk manufactured by the above method for manufacturing fermented milk.
