A B S T R A C T The method for producing a prestressed tension anchor that comprises a steel tension element which is adapted to support a load during a long period of time for anchoring structural bodies, where between the tension element and the wall of the bore hole a hardenable construction material is injected, such as cement grout, where the tension element is housed in an uninterrupted cover of corrosion resisting material, the hollow spaces between the tension element and the cover and also between the cover and the wall of the bore hole being filled over the entire length of the anchor with said material, while a connection is avoided in a tensioning region between the cover and the outer material, and the tension element is stressed after the hardening of the material.
