The invention relates to a method for producing hot strips (18) consisting of a deformable lightweight steel which is especially suitable for cold deep drawing, consists of Fe, Mn, Si and Al as the main elements, and has a high tensile strength and TRIP and/or TWIP properties. According to the invention, a melted mass is cast in a horizontal continuous casting installation (1) under a protective gas in order to form a pre-strip between 6 and 20 mm, in such a way as to approximately obtain the end dimensions, and the temperature of the pre-strip is adjusted after the core solidification and before the beginning of a hot-rolling process. The inventive method is characterised in that the pre-strip is passed through a device (10) under a protective gas for homogenisation in relation to the optional maintenance of the temperature, either cooling or heating, is subjected to a hot-rolling process comprising at least one pass with a total degree of deformation of at least 50 %, and is then wound up as a hot strip following the cooling process. The hot-rolling process is carried out in in-line or in a decoupled manner according to the ratio of the casting speed to the rolling speed.
L'invention concerne un procédé servant à produire des feuillards à chaud (18) en acier de construction léger façonnable, montrant notamment une bonne aptitude à l'emboutissage profond à froid, composé de Fe, Mn, Si et Al comme constituants principaux et présentant une résistance élevée à la traction et des propriétés TRIP et/ou TWIP. Selon l'invention, on coule de manière à s'approcher des dimensions finales, dans une installation de coulée de feuillards horizontale (1) et sous gaz protecteur, une masse en fusion en une ébauche de feuillard comprise entre 6 et 20 mm et on ajuste l'ébauche de feuillard en température après la solidification à coeur et avant le début d'un processus de laminage à chaud. Le procédé selon l'invention est caractérisé en ce que l'ébauche de feuillard traverse un dispositif (10) sous gaz protecteur pour l'homogénéisation en relation avec au choix un maintien de la température, un refroidissement ou un chauffage, est ensuite soumise à un processus de laminage à chaud présentant au moins une passe avec un taux de déformation global d'au moins 50 %, puis est bobinée en tant que feuillard à chaud après refroidissement, le processus de laminage à chaud se faisant en ligne ou de manière découplée en fonction du rapport de la vitesse de coulée à la vitesse de laminage.
