The invention relates to the production of potassium fertilizer granulates which remain stable even when stored under conditions of high relative humidity. According to the invention, the granulate contains an additive in the form of magnesium oxide and/or calcium oxide in fine form which is added to the granulate prior to pressing. When stored in a damp climate, a high final burst strength is achieved.
