ABSTRACT METHOD FOR PRODUCING INTERNALLY FINNED TUBING A cold working process for fabricating internally finned tubing is disclosed. A smooth tube shell is inserted over a tapered, grooved mandrel disposed in a tube reducer (Pilger mill). The roll die in the reducer cause the tube to elongate and imprint the fins into the internal diameter of the tube.
