The invention relates to a method for creating a fibre strip (12) composed of individual fibres (11), some sections of the latter (11) being subjected to a surface treatment, for example by means of a laser (13). According to the invention, the individual fibres (11) are conducted in the fibre strip (12) without torsion, at least between the treatment process step and the fixing process step to prevent distortion. This ensures that the angular position of the surface-treated sections in the fibre strip (12) can be advantageously predicted and that the optical behaviour of the fibre strip, which is dependent on the flexure, permits conclusions to be drawn about the degree of bending in the fibre strip. The fibre strip can be used, for example, as a sensor strip, which can be utilised in the bumper of a motor vehicle to identify the impact of pedestrians.
L'invention concerne un procédé pour produire une bandelette de fibres (12) constituée de fibres individuelles (11), ces fibres individuelles (11) étant partiellement soumises à un traitement de surface, par exemple au moyen d'un laser (13). Selon l'invention, les fibres individuelles (11) sont guidées dans la bandelette de fibres (12), sans torsion, au moins entre l'étape de traitement et l'étape de fixation pour empêcher toute torsion. Ainsi, il est possible de garantir de manière avantageuse, que la position angulaire des sections ayant subi le traitement de surface dans la bandelette de fibres (12) puisse être prédite, et que le comportement optique de la bandelette de fibres, qui dépend de la flexion, permette d'inférer l'état de flexion de la bandelette de fibres. La bandelette de fibres produite peut par exemple être utilisée en tant que bande de détection dans le pare-chocs d'un véhicule automobile pour identifier un impact avec des piétons.
