The invention relates to a method for producing paper, paperboard and cardboard by draining the pulp on a sieve, in the presence of at least one cationic polymer. Before sheets are formed, a mixture of at least one essentially linear, cationic polyelectrolyte and an optical brightening agent is added to the pulp, said mixture containing at least two parts by weight of the polyelectrolyte per part by weight of the optical brightening agent.

L'invention concerne un procédé de fabrication de papier, de carton-pâte et de carton, par égouttage d'une pâte à papier sur un tamis, en présence d'au moins un polymère cationique. Avant fabrication des feuilles, on additionne à la pâte à papier un mélange d'au moins un polyélectrolyte cationique essentiellement linéaire et d'un agent de blanchiment optique, ledit mélange contenant au moins deux parts en poids de polyélectrolyte pour une part en poids d'agent de blanchiment optique.
