The invention relates to a method for extracting phyllanthus, whereby (a) phyllanthus constituents are extracted with an ethanol/water mixture of 5-85 % m/m, to which a heavy metal chelating agent in a concentration of 0.001-3 % m/m is added; (b) the primary extract obtained in step (a) is mixed and concentrated with (ba) indian sterculia gum in a final concentration of 0.5- 5.0 % mm, in relation to the sum of the extractive matter, or (bb) at least one polymer and substances which can form a suspension and/or are soluble; and (c) the concentrated extract obtained in step (b) is dried. The inventive method enables particularly high yields of pharmacologically active plant ingredients to be obtained and is thus of particular interest for therapeutic uses. In a preferred form of embodiment, the inventive method comprises a step for filtering the primary extract. It is also preferable to add a lipoid during the extraction method. The phyllanthus is preferably phyllanthus amarus. The invention further relates to pharmaceuticals containing extracts obtained by means of the inventive method.

L'invention concerne un procédé permettant d'extraire du phyllanthus, selon lequel (a) les constituants du phyllanthus sont extraits avec un mélange éthanol/eau de 5 à 85 % m/m auquel on ajoute un chélateur des métaux lourds dans une concentration de l'ordre de 0,001 à 3 % m/m ; (b) l'extrait primaire obtenu en (a) est mélangé et concentré avec (ba) de la gomme de sterculia indienne dans une concentration finale de l'ordre de 0,5 à 5,0 % mm, par rapport à la somme des substances extractives, ou (bb) un ou plusieurs polymères, ainsi que des substances pouvant être mises en suspension et/ou solubles ; et (c) l'extrait concentré obtenu en (b) est séché. Ledit procédé permet d'obtenir des rendements particulièrement élevés d'ingrédients végétaux pharmacologiquement actifs et présente de ce fait un intérêt particulier dans des utilisations thérapeutiques. Dans un mode préféré de réalisation, le procédé comprend une étape de filtration de l'extrait primaire. Il est en outre préférable d'ajouter un lipoïde pendant le procédé d'extraction. Le phyllanthus est de préférence du phyllanthus amarus. L'invention concerne de plus des médicaments contenant les extraits obtenus à l'aide dudit procédé.
