The invention relates to a method for manufacturing a product which is at least partially transparent and which has a high optical quality which can be compared to that of glazing, wherein a correspondingly shaped thermally insulating sheet is placed in a part of a mould, at least in the bottom of the mould, then a thermoplastic material which can become joined with the sheet in the above-mentioned product is injected into said mould. The method is characterized in that the part of the mould whose bottom is provided with the sheet is kept at a temperature which is lower than that which is necessary to produce the required optical quality in the absence of said sheet. The invention also relates to the product thus obtained, to the use thereof as glazing, and to glazing for a motor vehicle thus obtained.
L'invention concerne un procédé de fabrication d'un produit au moins en partie transparent et de qualité optique élevée comparable à celle d'un vitrage, dans lequel on place dans une partie au moins du fond d'un moule une feuille de forme correspondante et isolante thermique, puis on injecte dans ce moule un matériau thermoplastique apte à se solidariser à ladite feuille dans ledit produit. Le procédé se distingue par le fait que la partie du moule dont le fond est pourvu de ladite feuille est maintenue à une température inférieure à celle qui serait nécessaire en l'absence de ladite feuille pour procurer la qualité optique requise. L'invention a trait par ailleurs au produit ainsi obtenu, à son application en tant que vitrage, et à un vitrage pour véhicule automobile ainsi obtenu.
