The invention relates to a method for producing propylene oxide, at least comprising steps (i) and (ii): (i) providing a catalyst containing at least one porous oxidic material; (ii) reacting propene with a hydroperoxide in at least one nitrile serving as a solvent or in a solvent mixture containing at least one nitrile in the presence of the catalyst in accordance with (i). The invention is characterized in that at least one porous oxidic material is a zeolite having a radiographic correspondence to the MWW type.
L'invention concerne un procédé de production d'oxyde de propylène, comprenant au moins les étapes (i) et (ii), qui consistent : (i) à fournir un catalyseur contenant au moins un matériau oxydant poreux ; (ii) à faire réagir du propène avec un hydroperoxyde, dans au moins un nitrile qui sert de solvant ou dans un mélange de solvants contenant au moins un nitrile, en présence du catalyseur fourni lors de l'étape (i). Le procédé selon l'invention est caractérisé en ce qu'au moins un matériau oxydant poreux est un zéolithe qui correspond radiographiquement au type MWW.
