The invention relates to a method for producing solid materials, particularly building materials, wherein vegetal source material is ground, fermented and at least partially dried. The vegetal source material is ground into fine grains, fermented by adding microorganisms, preferably yeast, and dried. Non- fermenting parts of the vegetal source material are bonded when drying by substances from the microorganisms, so that a solid ecologically safe material can be produced without conventional adhesives.
L'invention concerne un procédé de production de matières solides, en particulier de matériaux de construction, selon lequel les produits végétaux de départ sont broyés, soumis à une fermentation et au moins partiellement séchés. Les produits végétaux de départ sont broyés en grains fins et mis à fermenter par addition de micro-organismes, de préférence des levures, puis séchés. Les fractions non fermentées des produits de départ sont agglutinées et collées entre elles lors du séchage par les matières provenant des micro-organismes, de sorte qu'on peut obtenir, sans recourir aux adhésifs conventionnels, un produit solide écologiquement acceptable.
