A method for producing thick ceramic films of greater than 10 µm on selected substrates is described. Conventional sol gel solutions are loaded with up to about 90 % by weight of finely divided caramic particles and mixed. The resulting slurry or paint can be either spun or dip coated or sprayed or painted onto a planar or other substrate, fired to remove the organic materials and to develop a microcrystalline structure. The fired film may then be heated. Composite films are also contemplated.
La présente invention concerne un procédé de fabrication de films céramiques épais dépassant 10 µm sur certains substrats. Les solutions sol-gel classiques sont chargées jusqu'à environ 90 % en poids de particules céramiques finement fractionnées et mélangées. La pâte ou la peinture ainsi obtenue peut être soit filée, soit appliquée au trempé, soit pulvérisée, soit peinte sur un support plan ou autre, cuite pour éliminer les matières organiques et pour développer une structure microcristalline. Le film cuit peut ensuite être chauffé. L'invention envisage aussi la réalisation de films composites.
