Abstract of the Disclosure A method for suspension polymerizing of copolymeriz- ing vinyl chloride is carried out by adding a metal halide to the contents of the polymerization vessel before or during the polymerization or copolymerization. According to this method, adhesion of polymer in scale form onto the inner wall, etc. inside the vessel is remarkably inhibited. Preferably, the amount of metal halide is in the range of 0.01 to 10,000 ppm based on total monomeric weight, and the metal component of the metal halide is selected from the group consisting of Cu, Ag, Mg, Ca, Zn, Al, Sn, Ti, Fe, Co and Ni.
