It is intended to provide genes respectively encoding the amino acid sequences represented by SEQ ID NO:2 and SEQ ID NO:70. By simultaneously expressing these 4~CGT gene and AS gene in a plant inherently having no ability to synthesize aurones, aurones can be successfully accumulated and the flower color of the plant turns yellowish. By expressing these genes and, moreover, regulating the flavonoid colorant synthesis system of the host plant per se, a flower in an improved vivid yellow color can be obtained.
La présente invention se rapporte à des gènes qui codent respectivement les séquences d'acides aminés représentées par SEQ ID NO : 2 et SEQ ID NO : 70. L'expression simultanée desdits gènes 4'CGT et AS dans une plante dépourvue de la capacité à synthétiser des aurones permet d'accumuler des aurones et de conférer une teinte jaune aux fleurs de ladite plante. L'expression desdits gènes ainsi que la régulation du système de synthèse de flavonoïdes de la plante hôte per se permettent d'obtenir une fleur dotée d'une couleur jaune vif améliorée.
