A method for providing an analytical solution for a thermal history of a welding process having multiple weld passes (606-1, 606-2, 606-3). The method includes the steps of inputting a plurality of files and parameters, preprocessing information from the plurality of files and parameters to determine a set of conditions associated with the welding process, determining a region of influence of at least one heat source (608) used in the welding process as a function of the set of conditions, determining a plurality of point heat source solutions within the region of influence, determining a temperature solution for each weld pass (606-1, 606-2, 606-3) as a function of a superposition of the plurality of point heat source solutions, and determining the thermal history of the welding process as a function of the temperature solutions.
L'invention concerne un procédé fournissant une solution analytique pour l'historique d'un procédé de soudage comprenant de multiples passes de soudure (606-1, 606-2, 606-3). Ledit procédé consiste à saisir plusieurs fichiers et paramètres, à prétraiter les données desdits fichiers et paramètres afin de déterminer un ensemble de conditions associées au procédé de soudage, à déterminer une région d'influence d'au moins une source de chaleur (608) utilisée dans le procédé de soudage en fonction de l'ensemble de conditions, à déterminer plusieurs solutions ponctuelles associées à la source de chaleur dans la région d'influence, à déterminer une solution thermique pour chaque passe de soudure (606-1, 606-2, 606-3) en fonction d'une superposition desdites solutions ponctuelles associées à la source de chaleur, et à déterminer l'historique thermique du procédé de soudage en fonction des solutions thermiques.
