The invention relates to a method for purifying CO2 exhaust gas flow in order to remove chemical compounds and for returning purified gas flows to a production process, in particular to a methyonine production process, wherein said gas is exposed to the following operations consisting a) in dissolving the gas in water or in water in methylmercapto-propionaldehyd (MMP) maximum up to solubility limit, b) in consequently washing the gas with MPP, c) in washing in water and, afterwards d) in returning the thus purified CO2 to the production process.

L'invention concerne un procédé d'épuration de courants de gaz d'échappement de CO2 en vue de les débarrasser de composés chimiques, avec recyclage des courants gazeux purifiés dans le processus de production, procédé convenant en particulier pour un procédé de production de méthionine. Le procédé selon l'invention est caractérisé en ce que le gaz est soumis, dans l'ordre indiqué, aux opérations suivantes : a) le gaz se présente dissous dans l'eau, ou dans l'eau dans le méthylmercaptopropionaldéhyde (MMP), au maximum jusqu'à la limite de solubilité, b) le gaz est lavé ensuite avec MPP et c) lavé ensuite à l'eau, après quoi d) le CO2 ainsi purifié est recyclé dans le processus de production.
