A method for purifying soil contaminated with organic matter, such as an oil, which does not require pH adjustment nor accompanies the emission of a malodor, comprising the step of adding an organic material such as compost completely fermented and fully ripened to soil contaminated with organic matter whereby causing microorganisms indigenous to the soil to be activated to degrade and eliminate contaminant in the soil. Further the organic material serves to adjust the pH value of the soil to a value around the neutrality and at the same time, microorganisms introduced together with the organic material facilitate degrading and removing of the contaminant in the soil.
Procédé de purification de sol contaminé par une matière organique, comme de l'huile, sans qu'il soit nécessaire d'ajuster le pH et sans émission de mauvaise odeur. Ledit procédé consiste à ajouter audit sol contaminé une matière organique comme un compost intégralement fermenté et mûri, les micro-organismes latents dudit sol étant activés de sorte que le contaminant présent dans le sol soit dégradé et éliminé. Par ailleurs, la matière organique sert à ajuster la valeur du pH du sol, de sorte qu'il soit proche de la neutralité et les micro-organismes introduits conjointement avec la matière organique facilitant la dégradation et la suppression du contaminant présent dans le sol.
