The invention relates to a method for purifying supply flows containing aromates in polymerisation or alkylation methods, by bringing said flows into contact with zeolites. The inventive method is characterised in that the supply flow is guided over at least two zeolites 1 and 2, zeolite 1 having an average pore size of between 0.3 and 0.5 nm, and zeolite 2 an average pore size of between 0.6 and 0.8.
