The present invention relates to a method for quantifying the amount of active transforming growth factor beta (TGF-.beta.) in biological samples. In particular the method comprising incubating cryosections of a tissue with cells which contain a TGF-.beta. responsive expression vector having a structural region encoding an indicator protein and measuring the amount of said indicator protein expressed from the cells.
La présente invention concerne un procédé de mesure quantitative du facteur de croissance transformant bêta actif (TGF- beta ) dans des prélèvements biologiques. Plus particulièrement, le procédé consiste à incuber des sections cryogéniques d'un tissu avec des cellules qui contiennent un vecteur d'expression réactif au TGF- beta pourvu d'une région structurelle codant une protéine indicatrice, puis à mesurer la quantité de ladite protéine indicatrice exprimée à partir des cellules.
