A method for conveniently quantitating creatinine discharged in urine whereby the total amount of a urine component discharged and urine volume in a definite period, which are usable as indications for finding diseases and health care, can be accurately determined without collecting urine; a method for measuring a urine component by using the creatinine level thus measured; and an apparatus for measuring a urine component. The first invention relates to a method for quantitating creatinine discharged in urine which comprises the step of determining a regression formula showing the correlation between body weight index and urine creatinine level, and the step of measuring the body weight index of a subject and substituting it into the above formula. The second invention relates to a method for measuring a urine component practiced with the use of a value which is determined by dividing the urine creatinine level determined by the method of the first invention with the creatinine concentration in the urine specimen and multiplying the quotient by the concentration of the substance to be determined in the urine specimen. The third invention relates to an apparatus for measuring a urine component with the use of the method of the second invention.
La présente invention concerne un procédé permettant de quantifier de manière pratique la créatinine déchargée dans l'urine, la quantité totale d'un composant urinaire déchargé dans l'urine et le volume d'urine dans une période définie, utilisables comme indications pour diagnostiquer des maladies et pour des soins, pouvant être déterminés avec précision sans recueillir d'urine; cette invention concerne également un procédé de mesure d'un composant urinaire grâce au taux de créatinine ainsi mesuré; et concerne enfin un appareil de mesure du composant urinaire. La première invention concerne un procédé de quantification de la créatinine déchargée dans l'urine, consistant à déterminer une formule de régression qui montre la corrélation entre l'indice de pondération du corps d'un sujet et à la substituer ensuite dans la formule précitée. La deuxième invention concerne un procédé de mesure d'un composant urinaire exécuté avec une valeur déterminée en divisant le taux de créatinine urinaire, déterminé par le procédé de la première invention, par la concentration de créatinine dans l'échantillon urinaire, et en multipliant le quotient par la concentration de la substance à déterminer dans l'échantillon urinaire. La troisième invention concerne un appareil de mesure d'un composant urinaire au moyen du procédé de la seconde invention.
