The method according to the invention includes the following steps: a first transport by truck to the nearest station provided with a specialized terminal (1); placing of the load unit (2), constituted by a standard container, on the ground or on a transfer system (4), which in turn feeds an automated loading platform which, by means of remote-controlled servo-assisted systems, loads the load unit (2) onto a railcar (3) with systems for horizontal translational motion.
Le procédé de l'invention consiste à: effectuer un premier transport par camion vers la gare la plus proche équipée d'un terminal spécialisé (1); placer le chargement (2) constitué d'un conteneur normalisé sur le sol ou sur un système de transfert (4) qui alimente à son tour une plate-forme de chargement automatisée, laquelle plate-forme met en oeuvre des systèmes asservis télécommandés pour placer le chargement (2) sur un wagon (3) à l'aide de systèmes assurant un mouvement de translation horizontal.
