ABSTRACT There is provided a method for reconstructing upper jaw teeth in which pattern impressions of the upper and lower jaws without the tooth or teeth to be reconstructed are mounted in their natural relation to the articulations (condyles) and to the skeletal skull structures, and the tooth or teeth to be reconstructed are modeled. To do this a protrusive contour curve of an existing tooth in the model impression of the jaw is taken in the sagittal plane of the latter by scanning the tooth. The curve is transferred by a copying tool to the tooth to be reconstructed in the sagittal plane starting from the point of contact of the front teeth of the lower jaw with the teeth of the upper jaw to form its palatal, concavely curved surface.
