The present invention relates to method, which helps to reduce and remove the build-up forming on the grate of a fludized-bed furnace in the roasting of fine-grained material such as concentrate. The concentrate is fed into the roaster from the wall of the furnace, and oxygen-containing gas is fed via gas nozzles under the grate in the bottom of the furnace in order to fluidize the concentrate and oxidize it during fluidization. Below the concentrate feed point, or feed grate, the oxygen content of the gas to be fed is raised compared with the oxygen content of the gas fed elsewhere.

L'invention concerne un procédé qui contribue à réduire et à éliminer l'accumulation sur la grille d'un four à lit fluidisé utilisé pour le grillage de matériau à grain fin du type concentré. Ce concentré est injecté dans le four depuis la paroi, et un gaz contenant de l'oxygène est injecté via des buses d'injection de gaz au fond du four de manière à fluidiser le concentré et à l'oxyder durant la fluidisation. Sous le point de d'injection du concentré ou la grille d'injection, la teneur en oxygène du gaz d'injection est plus élevée que la teneur en oxygène du gaz injecté par ailleurs.
