The friction resistance of the hull (2) of a ship (1) while navigating is reduced by jetting out minute air bubbles (8) of a predetermined diameter from positions of small static pressure near starting points of flow lines (F.L.) of water, which extend toward the bottom (5) of the ship from positions of small draft in a submerged part of the bow (4) of the hull (2) along both side surfaces of the hull (2), and allowing the minute air bubbles (8) to move down to the bottom (5) of the ship (1) along the flow lines (F.L.), thereby distributing minute air bubbles (8) over at least a part of a region around the submerged part of the hull (2).
On réduit la résistance à la friction de la coque (2) d'un navire (1) qui navigue, en émettant des jets de minuscules bulles d'air (8) de diamètre préétabli à partir d'emplacements à faible pression statique à proximité de points de départ de lignes d'écoulement (F.L) de l'eau qui démarrent de positions à faible tirant d'eau au niveau d'une partie immergée de la proue (4) de la coque (2) et descendent vers le fond (5) du navire le long des deux surfaces latérales de la coque (2), et en laissant ces minuscules bulles d'air (8) descendre vers le fond du navire (1) le long desdites lignes d'écoulement (F.L), ce qui permet de répartir ces minuscules bulles d'air (8) sur au moins une partie de la zone entourant la partie immergée de la coque (2).
