The instant invention relates to a multi-stage process for producing low- nitrogen hydrocarbonaceous boiling range products involving contacting a hydrocarbonaceous feedstream with an acidic solution to selectively remove heterocyclic nitrogen-containing compounds, recovering the used sulfuric acid solution, and cascading the used sulfuric acid solution to another downstream contacting stage.

L'invention concerne un procédé à étapes multiples permettant de produire des produits hydrocarbonés à faible teneur en azote à limite d'ébullition et consistant à mettre en contact un flux d'alimentation hydrocarboné avec une solution acide de manière à éliminer de façon sélective des composés hétérocycliques renfermant de l'azote, à récupérer la solution d'acide sulfurique utilisée et à mettre en cascade celle-ci vers une autre étape de mise en contact aval.
