In order to reduce the resistivity of the corrosion-induced superficial oxide layer at the point where current passes to a chromium-plated steel component, said component is annealed and the oxide layer with which it may become covered during the annealing process is removed prior to the component being exposed to the current flow.
Pour réduire la résistivité inhérente à la couche superficielle d'oxyde due à la corrosion au point de passage du courant vers un composant en acier chromé, on procède à un recuit du composant en question, et l'on élimine la couche d'oxyde dont il se recouvre éventuellement pendant cette opération de recuit, avant de l'exposer au passage de courant.
