A method for preparing a copolymer of general formula (I) by electrochemically copolymerising a compound of general formula (II) with a compound [A], wherein [A] is a monomeric unit of a polymer capable of being produced by electrochemical copolymerisation, [B] is a side group that may be a monomer or a polymer and is bound to unit [A] by a covalent bond or via a spacer arm, and x and y are integers of at least 1. Said method includes a treatment enabling the surface reactivity of said copolymer to be reduced.

L'invention est relative à un procédé de préparation d'un copolymère de formule générale (I) par copolymérisation électrochimique d'un composé de formule générale (II) avec un composé, [A] représentant une unité monomère d'un polymère susceptible d'être obtenu par copolymérisation électrochimique, [B] représentant un groupe latéral qui peut être un monomère ou un polymère, lié à l'unité [A] par liaison covalente, ou par l'intermédiaire d'un bras espaceur, et x et y représentant des nombres entiers égaux ou supérieurs à 1, lequel procédé comprend un traitement permettant de réduire la réactivité de surface dudit copolymère.
