A process for reforming high-temperature exhaust gas from a metallurgical furnace which comprises adding a reducing agent to the exhaust gas to reform the gas, wherein the addition of the reducing agent is initiated when the oxygen concentration of the exhaust gas reaches 1vol% or below and the reforming reaction is completed when the temperature of the exhaust gas is 800°C or above; an apparatus for the process. The reducing agent is blown into the reforming system through a reducing agent blowing nozzle having a double pipe structure. Further, the invention provides a process for cooling ex-haust gas from a metallurgical furnace, which comprises adding a reducing agent to high-temperature exhaust gas from a metallurgical furnace, causing endothermic reac-tion between the reducing agent and carbon dioxide con-tained in the exhaust gas, and cooling the exhaust gas it-self by the endothermic reaction; and an apparatus for the process.
Cette invention concerne un procédé de reformage des gaz résiduaires issus d'un four métallurgique, ledit procédé comprenant l'ajout d'un agent de réduction aux gaz résiduaires pour reformer les gaz. L'ajout de l'agent de réduction est initié quand la concentration en oxygène des gaz résiduaires est inférieure ou égale à 1 % en volume, et il est arrêté quand la température des gaz résiduaires est supérieure ou égale à 800°C. L'invention concerne également un appareil pour ledit procédé. L'agent de réduction est insufflé dans le système de reformage à travers une buse d'insufflation à double tube. En outre, cette invention concerne un procédé de refroidissement des gaz résiduaires issus d'un four métallurgique, ledit procédé comprenant l'ajout d'un agent de réduction aux gaz résiduaires à température élevée issus d'un four métallurgique. Ceci entraîne une réaction endothermique entre l'agent de réduction et le dioxyde de carbone contenu dans les gaz résiduaires, et le refroidissement des gaz résiduaires du fait de la réaction endothermique. L'invention concerne également un appareil pour ledit procédé.
