AN IMPROVED METHOD FOR REGENERATION OF CONIFEROUS PLANTS BY SOMATIC EMBRYOGENESIS EMPLOYING POLYETHYLENE GLYCOL This invention relates to a method for regeneration of coniferous plants. In particular, this invention relates to an improved method for producing and developing somatic embryos for somatic embryogenesis processes for plants of the genus Pinus and Pinus interspecies hybrids by including polyethylene glycol in the development media. This method is well suited for producing clonal planting stock useful for reforestation.

Méthode améliorée pour régénérer des conifères par embryogenèse somatique utilisant du polyéthylèneglycol. L'invention porte sur une méthode de régénération de conifères, et notamment sur une méthode améliorée pour produire et développer des embryons pour l'embryogenèse somatique d'hybrides interspécifiques du genre Pinus pinus, utilisant du polyéthylèneglycol dans les milieux de développement. Cette méthode convient bien pour l'obtention de stocks de plantation de clones, utiles pour le reboisement.
