The invention provides a method for removing residual microbicide from a percutaneous medical device by contacting the surfaces of the medical device with a neutralizing solution containing an agent which neutralizes the microbicide. The neutralizing solution and reaction products of the neutralizing solution and the microbicide are injectable into a human bloodstream and non-toxic to humans.
L'invention se rapporte à un procédé d'élimination du microbicide résiduel restant sur un dispositif médical percutané, en mettant en contact les surfaces de ce dispositif avec une solution neutralisante contenant un agent de neutralisation du microbicide. On peut injecter à l'homme par voie sanguine la solution neutralisante, les produits de réaction de cette solution ainsi que le microbicide, ceux-ci n'étant pas toxiques pour lui.
