The present invention relates to a method for removing an anti-corrosion coating from a base body (3) of a turbine blade assembly (1). An outer part (13) of the anti- corrosion coating (11) is removed abrasively by a water jet (23). Then, an inner part (15) of the anti- corrosion coating (11) is removed chemically. This combination permits the efficient and cost- effective removal of an anti-corrosion coating (11) from a turbine blade assembly(1).
