The present invention relates to a method for removing and recovering CO2 from exhaust gas from a gas turbine based electric power and heat generation process (a main power process) by chemical absorption and description for deposition of CO2 as convenient at the location. The exhaust gas from said main power process is cooled before being fed to a secondary gas turbine based power and heat generation process (a secondary power process) where said exhaust gas is compressed to elevated pressure and used as oxidant in a secondary gas turbine combustion chamber in said secondary power process. The resulting hot exhaust gas from said secondary process is further fed to a turbine connected to an electric power generator where the exhaust gas is depressurised to close to ambient pressure before entering a heat recovery process where the exhaust gas is cooled and further fed to a CO2 separation process for capturing of CO2.
La présente invention concerne un procédé d'élimination et de récupération de CO2 à partir d'un gaz d'échappement issu d'un procédé de génération de chaleur et d'énergie électrique à base de turbines à gaz (procédé de génération d'énergie principal) par absorption et désorption chimique permettant le dépôt de CO2 de manière commode au niveau de l'emplacement. Le gaz d'échappement issu dudit procédé de génération d'énergie principal est refroidi avant d'être alimenté vers un procédé de génération de chaleur et d'énergie à base de turbines à gaz secondaire (procédé de génération d'énergie secondaire) dans lequel ledit gaz d'échappement est comprimé à une pression élevée et utilisé en tant qu'oxydant dans une chambre de combustion de la turbine à gaz secondaire dans ledit procédé de génération d'énergie secondaire. Le gaz d'échappement chaud ainsi obtenu issu dudit procédé secondaire est ensuite alimenté vers une turbine reliée à un générateur d'énergie électrique dans lequel le gaz d'échappement est dépressurisé presque jusqu'à la pression ambiante avant d'entrer dans un procédé de récupération de chaleur dans lequel le gaz d'échappement est refroidi puis alimenté vers un procédé de séparation de CO2 permettant de capturer le CO2.
