The present invention provides a method for cleaning debris from a well-bore and includes the steps of injecting hydrophilic fibers selected from the group consisting of polyolefins, polyesters and nylons, suspended or dispersed in a water based or oil based liquid into a well-bore and forcing the suspension upwards, through the length of the well-bore, to its open end. In particular, the suspension is directed through sections of the well-bore holding quantities of debris formed from the drilling operation. The suspension loosens the debris and sweeps substantial quantities of debris from the well-bore.
La présente invention porte sur une méthode de nettoyage des débris dans un puits et elle consiste à injecter, dans un puits, des fibres hydrophiles choisies parmi les fibres de polyoléfine, de polyester et de nylon, en suspension ou dispersées dans un liquide à base d'eau ou d'huile et à forcer la suspension à remonter, sur la longueur du puits jusqu'à l'extrémité ouverte, de ce dernier. La suspension est surtout dirigée vers les sections du puits qui renferment de grandes quantités de débris produits par les travaux de forage. La suspension a pour effet d'ameublir les débris et de les expulser en quantités considérables hors du puits.
