Abstract Hydrogen sulfide and dydrogen cyanide ae catalytically removed from air at room temperatures. Air containing H2S and HCN in dilue concentrations is contacted with a catalyst formed of palladium (II) and copper (II), on an alumina substrate, at a temperature in the range of -20°C. to 85°C. The catalyst may also contain nickel (II).
