This invention relates to a method for removing heavy metals in incineration ash of industrial wastes wherein the incineration ash is contacted with water, and the resulting aqueous solution containing the heavy metals is contacted with a heavy metal adsorbent. This method can conveniently and efficiently remove the heavy metals in the incineration ash, and accordingly, it promotes recycling of the incineration ash.

L'invention concerne un procédé d'élimination des métaux lourds présents dans des cendres d'incinération, qui se caractérise en ce qu'il consiste à placer des cendres d'incinération provenant d'un déchet industriel au contact de l'eau afin de former une solution aqueuse contenant un métal lourd. Le procédé consiste ensuite à placer la solution aqueuse au contact d'un agent absorbant le métal lourd. Le procédé de l'invention permet d'éliminer efficacement, de manière simple et facile, les métaux lourds présents dans des cendres d'incinération, et de revaloriser ainsi les cendres d'incinération.
