ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The present invention discloses a method for removing, from a surface, a dry paint layer comprising an organic binding agent. The method comprises applying a paint solvent agent to the paint layer for a predetermined period of time r applying a rinsing agent at least once to the dissolved paint, and immediately thereafter providing for the vacuuming away of the rinsing agent and the paint particles which have been loosened from the paint layer on the surface. Compared to known paint removal methods, the present invention provides a safe, convenient and inexpensive method for removing a dry paint layer from a surface.
