The invention concerns a method for removing skin from the bodies of animals, preferably the bodies of fowls, and a device for implementing said method. Known devices comprise skin-removing rollers, designed to enable height adjustment via a control cam. Said devices, however, have the disadvantage of not enabling the rollers to be accurately positioned on the bodies of animals of different shapes, in particular on bodies with curves. The invention aims at supplying a device and a method ensuring optimal positioning enabling the skin to be removed without damage. This is achieved by the fact that the inventive device comprises skin-removing rollers with two degrees of freedom, thereby enabling said rollers to be optimally positioned, independently of the size of the animal body.
L'invention concerne un procédé pour l'enlèvement de la peau de corps d'animaux, de préférence, de corps de volailles, ainsi qu'un dispositif pour la mise en oeuvre de ce procédé. Des dispositifs connus comprennent des rouleaux d'enlèvement de la peau, conçus de manière à permettre un réglage en hauteur par l'intermédiaire d'une came de commande. Ces dispositifs présentent toutefois l'inconvénient de ne pas permettre un positionnement exact des rouleaux sur des corps d'animaux de formes diverses, en particulier sur des corps présentant des courbes. L'invention a pour but de fournir un dispositif et un procédé garantissant un positionnement optimal permettant un enlèvement de la peau sans dommage. Ce but est atteint grâce au fait que le dispositif selon l'invention présente des rouleaux d'enlèvement de la peau ayant deux degrés de liberté, ce qui permet d'obtenir un positionnement optimal de ces rouleaux, indépendamment de la grosseur du corps des animaux.
