-8- Repair of the door lock area of a door panel is completed by a patch carrying an opening to replace the opening of the damaged door panel. The opening is reshaped to receive the door lock. The patch is welded into place over an opening cut around the hole for the door lock and the patch is welded in place and finished to match the door panel.
