The invention concerns a method for producing from passive sonar data operational images interactively controlled by the operator continuously according to operational requirements and compatible with information requirements in real time. The invention is characterised in that it uses a method for representing a multidimensional data field on a display screen (14) which consists in using the screen co-ordinates for two dimensions of data and three colour perception components among luminosity, hue and saturation for three other dimensions of said data, to produce bearing-time, azimuth-time, or frequency-time (circulating lofar) or frequency-bearing with representation of frequencies by hue or interactive filtering.
Procédé d'élaboration à partir de données de sonar d'écoute passive d'images opérationnelles contrôlées interactivement par l'opérateur de façon continue en fonction du besoin opérationnel et compatible avec les besoins d'informations en temps réel, caractérisé en ce qu'il met en oeuvre un procédé de représentation d'un champ de données multidimensionnelles sur un écran de visualisation (14) consistant à utiliser les coordonnées d'écran pour deux dimensions des données et trois composantes de perception de la couleur parmi la luminosité, la teinte et la saturation pour trois autres dimensions desdites données, pour élaborer des images gisement-temps, azimut-temps, ou fréquence-temps (lofar circulant) ou fréquence-gisement avec représentation des fréquences par la teinte et filtrage interactif.
