The invention relates to compositions and methods for treating proliferative pathologies, in particular cancers. Said invention is based on identifying TReP-132 particular properties for controlling a cellular cycle of cellular proliferation. Said protein exhibits a tumor-suppressing activity, thereby being a preferred target for developing efficient therapeutic strategies. The compositions, the use and methods for identifying compounds which are capable to modulate the activity of said protein and which are usable for treating different proliferative pathologies, in particular of a human being are also disclosed.

Elle repose sur l'identification de propriétés particulières de TReP-132 dans le contrôle du cycle cellulaire et dans le contrôle de la prolifération cellulaire. Cette protéine se comporte comme un suppresseur de tumeur et constitue donc une cible privilégiée pour le développement de stratégies thérapeutiques efficaces. L'invention concerne des compositions, utilisations et méthodes d'identification de composés capables de moduler l'activité de cette protéine, et utilisables pour le traitement de diverses pathologies prolifératives, en particulier chez l'homme.
