A method for the secretory production of a glycoprotein having a human-type sugar chain, comprising a step of introducing a gene of an enzyme capable of performing a transfer reaction of a galactose residue to a non-reducing terminal acetylglucosamine residue, and a gene of heterologous glycoprotein, to obtain a transformed plant cell, a step of culturing the plant cell, and a step of recovering the culture medium of the plant cell.

L'invention se rapporte à un procédé de production sécrétoire d'une glycoprotéine possédant une chaîne glucidique de type humain, comportant une étape d'introduction d'un gène d'une enzyme susceptible d'effectuer une réaction de transfert d'un résidu de galactose vers un résidu acétylglucosamine terminal non réducteur, et d'un gène de glycoprotéine hétérologue, de manière à obtenir une cellule végétale transformée, une étape de culture de la cellule végétale et une étape de récupération du milieu de culture de la cellule végétale.
