The invention concerns a method for separating microseismic signals from seismic signals acquired in the context of active seismic monitoring operations of underground zones being exploited. It consists in producing seismic recordings from signals emitted by a single or several seismic sources monitored by signals orthogonal relative to one another. In that case the signals are processed to separate the respective contributions of the seismic sources to the received signals and reconstruct the seismograms equivalent to those which would be obtained by separately actuating the seismic sources. The induced microseismic signals (passive seismics) are separated from the seismic signals derived from sources 5 (active seismics) essentially by isolating the contribution of the latter, by comparison with a reference spectral model to the fundamental frequencies emitted and to their respective harmonics, and by reconstructing in the time domain the induced microseismic signals and the signals derived from the seismic sources 5. The invention is applicable to seismic monitoring of underground hydrocarbon or fluid storage reservoirs.
Méthode pour séparer des signaux de microsismicité induite de signaux sismiques acquis dans le cadre d'opérations de surveillance sismique active d'une zones souterraines en cours d'exploitation. On forme des enregistrements sismiques à partir de signaux émis par une source sismique unique ou plusieurs sources sismiques pilotées par des signaux orthogonaux les uns relativement aux autres. Dans cette alternative les signaux sont traités pour séparer les contributions respectives des sources sismiques aux signaux reçus et reconstruire les sismogrammes équivalents à ceux que l'on obtiendrait en actionnant séparément les sources sismiques. On sépare les signaux de microsismicité induite (sismique passive) des signaux sismiques émanant des sources 5 (sismique active) essentiellement en isolant la contribution de ces derniers, par comparaison avec un modèle spectral de référence aux fréquences fondamentales émises et à leurs harmoniques respectives, et en reconstituant dans le domaine des temps les signaux de microsismicité induite et les signaux émanant des sources sismiques 5. - Applications à la surveillance sismique de réservoirs souterrains d'hydrocarbures ou de stockage de fluides.
