The invention relates to a method for separating hydrogen, helium and/or neon from a liquid fraction that is rich in nitrogen and has a pressure of at least 10 bar. According to the invention, the liquid fraction (29) that is rich in nitrogen is expanded (e) and subjected to a phase separation (D), said expansion taking place at a pressure that permits the separation of hydrogen, helium and/or neon (30) leaving a residual content of less than 20 ppmV.
