The invention relates to a method for shaping an initial profile (16a) or a similar workpiece, which comprises a profile space, into a final profile by using an internal high pressure that is generated in the sealed profile space by a flowable active medium. In order to shape the initial profile (16n) comprising at least one corner area (28n), preferably at least two corner areas (28n), wall sections (34) which connect in the corner area (28n) are preshaped such that their cross-sections are curved counter to the direction of pressure, and are subsequently straightened by the internal high pressure of the flowable active medium while displacing the corner area (28n) in a direction of pressure. To this end, a profile comprising a profile space that is delimited by profile walls (22n) is used in which two profile walls (22n) define a corner area (28n) of the profile cross-section, whereby at least one of the profile walls (22n) connecting in the corner area (28n) is provided with an area (32) having a curved cross-section. A polygonal cross-section whose profile walls (22n) between the corner areas (28n) each comprise the inwardly curved area (32) or with which selected profile walls (22n) which connect two corner areas (28n) preferably offer a curved area (32).
La présente invention concerne un procédé pour former un profil de départ (16a), présentant un espace profilé, ou une pièce similaire, au moyen d'une haute pression interne, produite dans ledit espace profilé étanchéifié, par un milieu actif pouvant s'écouler, afin de donner un profil final. Afin de former ledit profil de départ (16n) présentant au moins une zone angulaire (28n), de préférence au moins deux zones angulaires (28n), des parties de paroi (34), adjacentes à la zone angulaire (28n), sont préalablement courbées de façon transversale, selon l'opposé de la direction de pression, puis sont redressées par la haute pression interne du milieu actif pouvant s'écouler, provoquant le déplacement de la zone angulaire (28n) dans la direction de pression. Un profil présentant un espace profilé défini par des parois profilées (22n) est utilisé afin de mettre en oeuvre ce procédé. Chaque paire de parois (22n) définit une zone angulaire (28n) de la section profilée. Au moins une des parois profilées (22n) adjacentes à la zone angulaire (28n) est pourvue d'une zone transversalement courbée (32). La section est de préférence polygonale, avec des parois profilées (22n) présentant chacune, entre les zones angulaires (28n), la zone incurvée (32), ou les parois profilées (22n) choisies pour relier chaque paire de zones angulaires (28n) offrant une zone courbée (32).
